2. After you have been approved you can log into your personal account or contact the local office directly to request a sitter for your specific request. To request a regular sitting event with a consistent sitter, contact your local office directly.
4. Once the request is submitted, SeekingSitters starts working for you to match a Certified Professional Sitter to your need.
5. Track the status of your request online and once assigned, a notification of the assigned sitter is emailed to you. You can then log into your personal account and view your assigned sitter and her profile.
6. You will hear from your assigned sitter at least 48 hours prior to your sitting event and on the day of the event the sitter will show up on time.
7. Your sitter will leave behind a Fun Times with SeekingSitters worksheet so that you can review the activities from the day.
8. When your sitter leaves your home you will be asked to sign the sitter's event card verifying the start and end time of the event.
9. SeekingSitters calculates the babysitting charges and your credit card is billed and a paid invoice is emailed to you. You can also look up the charges anytime from your personal account.

SeekingSitters screening process is a very important part of our service. SeekingSitters local office performs an in-person interview in addition to undergoing the X-check Background Screening. All Raleigh/Wake Forest sitters have been screened to meet the following sitter qualifications:
1) Minimum sitter age is 18 years. (The average age is 23.)
2) They must have their own reliable transportation.
3) Must have extensive prior childcare experience. This experience must consist of experience with all ages of children in a multitude of different babysitting situations.
4) They must have and keep up to date their CPR & First Aid Training certifications. SeekingSitters monitors this on an ongoing basis to assure that the sitters are maintaining current certifications.
